For me it all started by making
jewelry for myself, pretty much
a self taught designer, with a
few basic jewelry classes to
show me how to get started...I
was off and running. In
the beginning I mainly made
items for friends and family,
then I opened my website and and
began selling online.
"Jammertail Designs" is listed
on
Etsy,
an online store where I sell my goodies ... I also have
a supply shop now called "A
Little Scrappy" on
Etsyalso, so come over
to visit me.
What inspires me to create, is a
joy of working with different
mediums, starting from scratch
with no preset plan, making
something work, with no wrong or
right...just having fun enjoying
what I do :)
My more expensive pieces are
made with gorgeous gemstones and
beads, sterling silver, silk,
vermeil, and gold filled
components and findings from top
quality shops here on the west
coast. I also work with
costume jewelry in gold and
silver tones and remake these
jewelry pieces into something
new.
My
pieces are comprised of many
things from the simple classic
and dainty look of beautiful
freshwater cultured pearls, to
Swarovski crystals and mixed
media components to costume
jewelry remakes and recyclables.
I like to think of my jewelry as
wearable art – fun and funky!
Necklaces, earrings, bracelets,
pendants, cards and tags.
